    blueprints
The original floor plan to the Krimleyhuck house were discovered in library storage. These plans reveal another room, which was later concealed for use on the underground railroad. Since the Krimleyhucks did not move into this house for another four decades, it is unclear whether they were even aware of this room. More recent owners renovated the house, destroying any evidence.

    correspondence
An old tenemant building burned down; the causes of the fire were never determined. All that was recovered from Francis Krimleyhuck's basement room was a damaged box of correspondence. These damaged letters are drying out currently. They may prove an invaluable source if they are still legible.

    V-Mail
Thanks to the sharp eye of a donor who wishes to remain anonymous, we have uncovered another valuable, though frustratingly small, piece of the Krimleyhuck Saga. At an estate sale, a curious collection of unsent v-mail surfaced. Our nameless friend found a letter addressed to Francis himself, from one of his former band-mates. The author seems to know very little about Francis' current activities but wishes "good health to the noble Angela" and "luck in the upcoming election."

This letter raises more questions than it answers, but we are thankful for our donor's diligence.

Mad Lat-ned was one of the last immigrants to be accepted at Ellis Island. He and his upright bass took the train north from New York City and settled near Francis' childhood home.

"Amanda is not strong enough to go to school, but she knows many things that are not taught there. All day long she wanders over the hills and along the cliffs, in the most abbreviated jumpers, and the most colossal straw hat - barefoot, careless, always whistling. She knows where wild lemons grow, and the whole story of a butterfly, the best bait for parrot fish, and when the birds fly South.
She talks to animasls, and birds, and trees; mountains, too, and clouds, and stars - and the blue restless sea."

"There are three mental states that interest me," said Amanda, turning the lizard doorknob. "These are: one, amnesia; two, euphoria; three ecstacy."
She reached into the cabinet and removed a small green nottle of water-lily pollen. "Amnesia is not knowing who one is and wanting desperately to find out, Euphoria is not knowing who one is and not caring. Ecstacy is knowing exactly who one is--and still not caring."

    A picture of the past...

She spotted him across the haze of cigar smoke in the high class front parlour of the Madison Tea Room. You must understand, the Madison had little to do with tea, a misconception quickly rectified when Francis saw the gin and tonics lining the bar. But confusion was a part of her plan when she created the Madison. She wanted lost souls to wander in looking for a cup of tea and find themselves in the back room on a plush sofa...
Francis finished his set, a most rewarding one with his tip jar almost full, and was halfway out the door when the bartender signaled. A nod of the head and a quick glance at an empty bar stool brought Francis back into the Madison. She left him a message, and curious, he obeyed its order to meet her in the back room. She was waiting, lounged on the sofa like a spider in a web...
